This site is dedicated to my personal photography, to the photos that I care about, that I’d like others to like but accept they may not. Some were captured on film, others digitally. Just as I used to make my own analogue prints, I now make my own inkjet archival prints. Unless commissioned , I don’t set out to take photos, rather I set out and take photos.
But I also set-out , mostly in book stores and the internet, to discover photographs I feel a connection with , hence posts now and again dedicated to those photographs and their authors in the hopes of doing my modest bit to draw attention to them.
I also offer a wedding, civil partnership and portrait photography service and also take on occasional commercial work and landscape commissions: this also matters to me but is not the object of this blog. C’est un beau cadeau que vous m’avez fait là que d’avoir pris le temps de m’écrire un mot si généreux et encourageant: moi qui suis si d’ordinaire si bavard, me voilà ne sachant pas trop quoi dire, si ce n’est un grand et sincère merci.
Votre cadeau est double puisqu’en plus de la joie qu’il m’a donnée, il a été une incitation à aller me promener parmi vos images, ce qui m’a procuré beaucoup de plaisir. Je le dis, là encore, très sincèrement.
