Tristesse
In the middle of fields, I chanced upon this cemetery.I let some of the stones blend because it felt right. Every time I find such a place, and there are many in my native country, I feel sad . I hope one day…you know what I mean.

It does seem that the dead blend into one another from one war to the next. I appreciate your choice to do that in this photo. Perhaps one day we will all see each other as individuals and there will be no more cemeteries like this one.
and there are no cemeteries for the civil victims of war…and still it goes on . I share your hope.
What a brilliant observation. I had never thought of that. I wonder if our view of war would be different then; those cemeteries would be massive.
